Hostal Abat Cisneros***
Since its construction in 1563, the building that now houses the Abat Cisneros Hotel has been used to accommodate pilgrims. The transformation of these old facilities into a hostel at the end of the 1950s turned it into an emblematic establishment. The most recent renovations modernized the facilities, and today visitors can enjoy spaces of excellent quality and comfort.
Its location in the heart of the Sanctuary, very close to the Basilica, allows guests to enjoy an incomparable stay in a pleasant and peaceful atmosphere, with magnificent views of the mountain and the river. It has 82 rooms with bath or shower, satellite TV, telephone, parquet flooring, and heating, with a total capacity for 153 people.

Abat Marcet Cells
The Abat Marcet Cells building, designed by Father Pere Busquets, dates from the 1960s. It is dedicated to the man who served as Abbot of Montserrat from 1912 to 1946. The current cells are an evolution of the former ones, where pilgrims were accommodated for centuries when the Monastery’s lodging could not offer enough capacity. Located in Abat Oliba Square, it offers an incomparable stay in a quiet and pleasant atmosphere.
The current cells are modern, fully equipped apartments designed to provide maximum comfort: bathroom, kitchen, heating, telephone, and television. An ideal place to come with family or friends, allowing you to organize your visit to Montserrat at your own pace. The Abat Marcet building has 92 apartments for one, two, three, or four people, with a total capacity of up to 260 guests.
